UBAT’s Treatment of NatureOURSto protect!

Nature is irreplaceable... it take years and years and generations after generation for it to grow
and sustain its growth.

Treat all the forests and its inhabitants with great care and respect.

They are unique and rare. Take only what<if> you need for knowledge purposes only.

Here are the rules & regulation that we practise and impose while OUT THERE!
And we expect that you do the same, too!

1. PROTECT WILDLIFE!
They ARE the inhabitants of the forests. They have been there longer than us. It’s their rightful home
and we are just trespassers , keen to escape from our world outside. Avoid at ALLcosts
to harm ANY wildlife.

2. REMOVE RUBBISH!
Litter is unattractive, harmful to wildlife and can increase vermin and disease.  Remember what you brought in and remember to bring them out, too.

3. KEEP THE STREAMS & LAKES CLEAN!
When cleaning or washing, use running water and wash well away from the source of drinking
because soaps and detergents are harmful to life. If necessary, drain used water OR cooking
oil into soil and allow it to be filtered.

4. TAKE CARE WITH FIRES!
Portable fuel or gas stoves are less harmful to the environment and are more efficient than fires.
If you do use a fire, keep it small, use only deadwood and make sure it is out by dousing it with water
and checking the ashes before leaving.
DO NOT burn plastic! Make sure that you bring out plastics, metals, glass and any used gas canisters!

5. CAMP CAREFULLY!
When camping, TRY to leave no trace of your visit.

6. KEEP TO THE TRACKS!
By keeping to the tracks, where one exists, you lessen the chance of damaging fragile plants.
And by keeping your mouth shut.... you will make the jungles around you NATURALLY noisy, too!

7. CONSIDER OTHERS!
People visit this area for many reasons. Be considerate of other visitors who have also the right to
enjoy the natural environment

8. RESPECT THE CULTURAL HERITAGE!
This area may have many spiritual and historical significance in the local population. Treat this area with consideration and respect.

9. ENJOY YOUR VISIT!
Enjoy your outdoor experience, take a last good look before leaving a specific place ; will the next
visitor know that you have been there?

Help us protect the environment for your own sake, for the sake of those who come after you and for the environment itself!

“ .... until the last tree has been felled, until the last wildlife hunted down
and until the last river polluted... will mankind EVER realised that
money cannot be eaten? “
